As the exterior wall of a building, glass photovoltaic modules are inevitably affected by wind load and temperature. Since each area has different wind strength and heating conditions, these two factors should be considered carefully before installation.
Therefore, selecting proper thickness and specification of glass can effectively reduce the self-explosion. Because the outer glass of photovoltaic module is generally toughened glass, its compressive strength is much higher than ordinary glass, which can withstand more bending and temperature changes.
